Project Scheduler
Iron Mountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler in the Huntsville, AL area supporting an upcoming Long Range Standoff Weapon (LRSO) effort.
The ideal candidate will develop and maintain the project schedule and provide support for Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting activities. This position will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the schedule aligns with project objectives and delivers accurate schedule and performance data to support informed decision‑making.
The position is contingent upon contract award. The candidate must be highly motivated, a self‑starter, and able to handle multiple tasks. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others, and a healthy desire to acquire new skills are paramount.
Education and General Experience- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of general experience.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Project software (required).
- Experience with Government technical project execution, contracting and fielding.
- Experience developing and understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) data.
- Ability to analyze project critical path drivers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Highly motivated, self‑starter, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Develop, update, integrate, and maintain all project tasks into a single Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project in accordance with DoD requirements.
- Develop resource‑loaded schedule with assigned labor categories, hours, and costs.
- Integrate subcontractor schedules, milestones, and dependencies into the IMS.
- Collect status updates, performance metrics, and task dependencies from cross‑functional teams.
- Support EVM activities.
- Analyze and track technical interdependencies.
- Track identified project milestone events.
- Perform continual critical path risk assessments and notify management of schedule conflicts and issues as required.
- Prepare information for presentations, training materials, and white papers.
- Support and participate as a member of Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Program Status Reviews (PSRs).
- Coordinate with project schedule representatives from other organizations in support of program goals.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
