Day, Night & Weekend available to include flexible schedules based on agency priorities.

Job Purpose:
To serve as a liaison between clients and case managers in coordinating and providing services, assisting with facilitation of daily activities, and participating in outreach events.
- Provide trauma-informed supervision of clients and facilitate daily activities with structure and efficiency.
- Serve as a resource and liaison between clients, case managers, and community partners in executing individualized and family-centered service plans.
- Assist with transportation of clients to and from appointments and other care related requirements.
- Provide administrative support to Shelter Coordinator and other direct services staff as it relates to intake, program reporting, case planning, and discharge.
- Answer crisis calls and direct to appropriate internal/external divisions.
- Assist with creating and expanding resource guides and support services.
- Help maintain safety, security, and upkeep of facility, transporting vehicles and work spaces.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures, program standards, local, state, and federal laws to ensure safety of clients, staff, facility, and organizational integrity.
- Participate in community and outreach events that advance the vision and mission of the organization.
- Crisis intervention principles and an understanding of the dynamics of trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
- Cultural competency and effective communication.
- Community networking and outreach.
- Data collection, data entry, and reporting.
- High school diploma, Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years working with victims of trauma in the capacity of case management, children and family services, legal services, administrative support, or other relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Valid Driver’s license, current proof of insurance, and the ability to operate company owned automobile responsibly.
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency (desired).
- Travel for client care required within service areas but not limited to the state of Alabama (dependent upon intake and case management needs) using company vehicles.
