• Plans, conducts, and coordinates firmware/software development and HW/SW integration activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs firmware/software to provide logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions.
• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Uses knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques, and system user input to develop software.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Ensures software standards are met.

• Experience with mid to large scale system or software development program.
• Experienced in software development using a modern programming language (e.g., C++, Java).
• Experience with embedded software development.

• Experience with HW/SW integration.
• Experience with flight software systems.
• Security+ certification.
• Experience with Agile software development.

A Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

For states excluding most major metropolitan areas of California, Massachusetts and New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont and Washington or Washington DC, the annual base salary range is $157,800 – $278,185. For most major metropolitan areas of California, Massachusetts and New York, the range is $181,400 – $314,525. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Salary information is a general guideline only and is based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.

The position is incentive plan eligible.

PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
