Senior Product Manager / Product Consultant
Engagement:  Enterprise O&G Client – Maintenance Platform

1. Context
We are building a maintenance  platform  for an enterprise client in the industrial / energy domain. The platform requires structured discovery with business stakeholders to clarify definitions, calculation logic, edge cases, data dependencies, and decision implications.
This is a high-stakes enterprise engagement requiring a PM who can bring structure to ambiguity, work directly with client stakeholders, and support delivery teams with clear, actionable product artefacts.
2. Role objective
We are looking for a  B2B / enterprise Product Manager  who can quickly step into an ongoing engagement, understand the product and business context, drive KPI and workflow discovery, and ensure smooth delivery coordination across client stakeholders, internal product, design, data, and engineering teams.
The person should be able to convert ambiguous business conversations into clear product decisions, business rules, requirements, user stories, and delivery priorities.
3. Key responsibilities
The PM will be expected to:
Lead structured discovery for KPI definitions, business rules, workflows, and edge cases.
Facilitate conversations with enterprise stakeholders, SMEs, data teams, engineering, design, and leadership.
Convert stakeholder inputs into clear PRDs, BRDs / FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision logs, and open-question trackers.
Clarify calculation logic, assumptions, exclusions, data dependencies, and validation examples for KPI-based product features.
Maintain alignment between business intent, product design, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization, risk tracking, and release readiness.
Communicate progress, risks, unresolved decisions, and next steps clearly to internal and client stakeholders.
Work with a newer internal PM and help create structure, continuity, and knowledge transfer.
Protect the engagement from ambiguity-driven delays, scope creep, and undocumented decisions.
4. Must-have experience
We are looking for candidates who have:
6–8 years of product management experience , preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise SaaS, industrial platforms, analytics platforms, workflow systems, fintech, supply chain, IoT, manufacturing, or operations-heavy domains.
Direct experience working with  enterprise clients or senior business stakeholders .
Strong discovery skills in ambiguous environments where requirements are not already well-defined.
Experience creating detailed product artefacts such as PRDs, FRDs, BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, decision logs, and release notes.
Ability to translate complex business logic into clear product requirements for engineering and design teams.
Experience working closely with engineering, data, QA, design, and delivery teams in agile environments.
Strong written communication and structured thinking.
Comfort with business-rule-heavy products, dashboards, KPIs, analytics, operational workflows, or scoring systems.
5. Strong preference for candidates with

Experience with  KPI definition, metrics platforms, analytics dashboards, asset management, maintenance workflows, reliability, industrial operations, energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing .
Experience in consulting, client-facing product management, solutioning, or implementation-heavy enterprise products.
Ability to run workshops with business SMEs and convert discussions into decisions.
Exposure to data-heavy products, AI / analytics platforms, or enterprise workflow automation.
Experience handling situations where stakeholders have conflicting interpretations of business rules.
