We’re chasing an experienced Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to help lead our maintenance team at Foxleigh Mine. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring tradespeople, driving safe and efficient work practices, and staying hands-on with the tools.
Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter | Foxleigh Mine
Working across both workshop and field maintenance, you’ll coordinate day-to-day crew activities, support breakdown response, and keep our fleet performing at its best.

- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or senior fitter role
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Experience across workshop and field maintenance
- Coal mining maintenance experience
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and police clearance
