Location: Clay City
Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging science instruction for grades 9-12 aligned to Illinois Learning Standards.
* Teach courses such as Earth Science,Biology, and Chemistry, and other assigned science classes.
* Assess student learning, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback.
* Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and follow all safety procedures.
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
* Participate in school improvement efforts, professional development, and extracurricular activities as assigned.
Qualifications
* Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate science endorsement
* Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
* Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
Salary/Benefits
Salary Range $41,715 - $71,685. Board paid TRS, 14 sick days, 3 personal days, health, dental, and vision insurance.
