Overview

Do you love to sell and solve problems? We are a family-owned company based in Fairbury, IL and the surrounding market (including Bloomington, Champaign, and Kankakee), looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. The right candidate will manage inbound leads with the utmost care while also expanding their networks with builders & property managers to create future relationships. Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in sales, with prior experience in the construction industry.

• This position requires all aspects of the sales process. Therefore, one must have a track record of qualifying and closing while also creating new relationships with Builders and potential clients.
• Sell consultatively and not on price.
• Be humble in their approach, yet relentless in their efforts to achieve their goals.
• Effectively manage relationships over a long period of time.
• Have ample construction knowledge.
• Be effective at working with a referral network.
• Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional at first.
• Have strong levels of responsibility and be highly coachable and trainable.

• Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively.
• Prior experience working in the construction industry is required.
• High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience in sales preferred.
• Outstanding organizational skills and time management.
