Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant - Software Services
About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant who can join new client meetings, understand business and technical requirements, and help convert qualified opportunities into software development projects.
This is not a generic calling or tele-sales role. The candidate must have a basic technical understanding of software development services and should be comfortable discussing web applications, mobile apps, SaaS platforms, eCommerce, APIs, CRM systems, AI-based solutions, and custom software development.
The role requires someone who can act as a bridge between the client, sales team, and technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Join discovery calls and new client meetings with prospective clients.
Understand client requirements, business goals, pain points, and expected outcomes.
Ask relevant business and technical questions to clarify project scope.
Explain our software development services, technical capabilities, delivery process, and team structure.
Discuss solutions for web apps, mobile apps, SaaS products, eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, integrations, APIs, automation, and AI-based applications.
Coordinate with developers, project managers, and technical leads to validate feasibility and prepare estimates.
Help prepare proposals, scope documents, milestone breakdowns, and project plans.
Handle client questions related to technology, timeline, budget, process, communication, and delivery approach.
Support the sales team in closing qualified software consulting opportunities.
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the delivery team.
Maintain clear notes, requirements, and follow-up points after client meetings.
Required Skills Strong spoken and written English communication.
Prior experience in IT services, software consulting, software development sales, pre-sales, business analysis, or technical project coordination.
Basic understanding of how software projects are planned, estimated, and delivered.
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into clear scope.
Comfortable discussing web development, mobile app development, SaaS, eCommerce, APIs, CRM, cloud-based systems, and integrations.
Ability to coordinate with technical teams for estimation and feasibility.
Good documentation, follow-up, and client handling skills.
Confidence in handling international clients from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Europe.

Important Requirement
The candidate should not be from a pure call center, telecalling, or generic sales background unless they have real exposure to software development services.
We are looking for someone who can understand software requirements, ask meaningful technical and business questions, and support the sales process with solution-oriented discussions.
Good to Have Experience working with international clients.
Experience with Upwork, Linked In, email leads, inbound leads, or outbound sales channels.
Knowledge of technologies such as Laravel, PHP, MERN, MEAN, React, Angular, Node.js, Word Press, Shopify, Flutter, AI tools, SaaS platforms, or CRM systems.
Experience preparing proposals, SOWs, estimates, wireframe-level scope, or milestone plans.
Ability to join calls independently and build client confidence.
