John Jones Auto Group is currently hiring for a Title Clerk to join our team. The Title Clerk will be responsible for processing and maintaining vehicle or property title documents, ensuring legal ownership records are accurate and compliant with state regulations.

Responsibilities

Process vehicle or property title paperwork
Verify ownership documents and signatures
Submit title applications to state agencies
Maintain accurate filing systems and records
Handle registration renewals and transfers
Ensure compliance with local and state laws
Communicate with customers, lenders, and government offices
Resolve title discrepancies or missing documentation
Track pending titles and follow up on delays
Process lien releases and payoff documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of DMV/title procedures preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Data entry and computer proficiency
Customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Familiarity with office software and dealership management systems

Preferred Experience

Experience in automotive dealerships
Clerical or administrative experience
