Key Responsibilities
* Design mechanical equipment and fabricated components used in commercial and industrial systems
* Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications for fabrication and production
* Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, and field personnel to ensure equipment designs meet project requirements
* Review project specifications and customer requirements to develop appropriate equipment solutions
* Support fabrication and production teams during the build process to ensure designs are executed correctly
* Assist with design modifications and problem-solving when production or installation challenges arise
* Maintain accurate design documentation and engineering records
* Ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company quality expectations### Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
* Experience with mechanical design, equipment design, or industrial systems
* Proficiency in
** CAD software
** such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar design platforms
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and equipment layout
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, fabrication, and field teams###

Physical Requirements
* Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
* Ability to occasionally visit fabrication or production areas
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when needed
* Ability to work in both office and shop environments
* Up to 40% travel
