Shift Availability- Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- On‑call for emergencies (if needed)
- Starting pay: $18.00 /hour

- Maintain basic working knowledge of building and grounds maintenance
- Perform daily tasks as assigned
- Perform daily mechanical room checks
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities
- Apply basic building repair measures
- Maintain clean workstation and job site
- Maintain high quality of work
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual
- Take pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas
- Attend mandatory staff and other meetings as assigned
- Complete and update mandatory training and licensure items in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and legible documentation
- Complete incident reports, including reporting suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client
- Ensure that the Agency meets its quality improvement, evaluation and reporting requirements
- Actively participate in and/or oversee data collection and use of data to improve outcomes, practices, and service delivery
- Utilize data collection in relation to driving and tracking outcomes and achieving Agency initiatives and goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- No formal education required
- At least 1‑year practical work experience in building repair and maintenance
- Availability for 24‑hour on‑call (for emergencies)
- Minimum age of 21 years (depending on program or department requirements)
- Meet and maintain background screening requirements as per Damar policy
- Valid Indiana driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of pre‑employment and physical screening
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility: stand or sit for prolonged periods; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch; lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35 lbs); operate office equipment; travel to other locations; and verbally communicate.

HearingHear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
