Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements

• Perform heavy balance sheet and subledger reconciliations

• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements

• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation

• Develop, mentor, and support lower-level accounting staff

• Assist with organizational tax preparation and regulatory filings

• Support general ledger oversight and financial reporting services

• Handle special projects and ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP; nonprofit accounting experience a plus

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities
