Position Purpose
:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Spanish Teacher provides specialized instruction for the purposes of developing Spanish proficiency in speaking, reading and writing while utilizing appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies. This position is one of two Spanish faculty positions at A.C. Reynolds High School. We offer Spanish I - AP Spanish. Our Spanish program is built/designed with a strong collaboration between both Spanish teachers;

realizing that both teachers will share students at different levels. A strong collaboration and willingness to work together for the entirety of the Spanish program is an expectation. Other foreign languages offered at Reynolds are:
French and Latin. There are athletic coaching opportunities, if interested.

Minimum Degree Level

Bachelor's Degree ( for more info about Master's pay)

Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.

• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
• Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
