The Interstate 35 Community School District is seeking dedicated candidates to join our amazing team of associates. We have an opening for an educational sign language interpreter for the 2025‑2026 school year. These candidates would provide assistance to students to interpret all information presented in learning situations in and outside of the classroom, teach students new signs to increase vocabulary, and provide students with instructional services according to their needs designed the IEP of the student.

This is a contracted position that would align with the school year calendar.

Education requirements:

HS Diploma, licensure from the Iowa Department of Professional Licensure, Board of Sign Language Interpreters and Translators, and knowledge of correct English usage; conceptually accurate signed English.
