Lakeside Hotel Casino is seeking a dependable and trustworthy Count Team Member to join our team. As a Count Team Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate collection, counting, and recording of casino revenues. This position works behind the scenes to support the financial integrity of our operation while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.
What You'll Do
- Collect and count funds and tickets from slot machines and table games.
- Count and verify revenue from food and beverage outlets and other revenue centers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all count activities.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all drops and collections.
- Follow established count procedures and gaming regulations.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Attend required training sessions and meetings.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong mathematical and cash-handling abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Reliable attendance and dependability are essential.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission gaming license.
