Scope: To provide safe and efficient transportation for students and staff

Reports to: Transportation Director

Qualifications: High School Diploma;
Strong interpersonal relationship skills

Performance Responsibilities:

• Obtain CDL Class B requirement, air brake, passenger and school bus endorsement
• Complete required training programs for certification in a timely manner
• Obtain DOT medical examiner's certificate
• Pass required physical examination
• Comply with requirements regarding drug testing and accident reporting
• Possess accident and violation free driving record
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks on vehicle and equipment
• Handle emergency situations in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Establish rapport and maintain effective and positive contact with parents, staff and students
• Assist with trip activities as needed

Terms of Employment: As defined by letter of agreement

Hours: M-F 7:00-8:15am and 3:00-4:15pm
