BMS Cruiserath is seeking to recruit a QC Quality Systems Technical Lead on a fixed-term contract, reporting to the QCTS Analytical Services Manager. The QC Quality Systems Technical Lead will be part of the team who are responsible for supporting the Quality Control team with Investigation’s, CAPA’s and Change Control’s.

Key Du ties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and management of medium/high risk QC Investigations and associated CAPA’s
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and problem solving sessions
  • Support QC with low risk investigations, as needed
  • Leading and coordinating the initiation, implementation, and closure of QC Change Controls
  • Ensuring the timely completion of all activities related to these quality systems 
  • Collation of metics/KPI’s and generation of associated dashboard read-out 
  • Communication with BMS local and global stakeholders
  • Lead huddles, meetings, conference calls and provide read-outs
  • Roll-out of Lessons Learned for QC deviations/investigations
  • Participate in the OpEx strategy and support process improvements
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a B.Sc. in Biochemistry or related discipline and must have at least 7 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in Quality. 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness using quality systems (investigations/change controls) in a FDA and EMA regulated environment. Knowledge of biologics QC testing is desirable.
  • Previous experience with analytical methods (Separations/Bioanalytical). Excellent technical writing skills are essential.
  • The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels.
  • In addition, the candidate will have proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs, as well as demonstrated problem solving, project management ability, excellent time management and organizational skills.
