Job Description

Restraint Engineer – Irvine, CA

• Work experience on Automotive Occupant safety components [Airbag, Occupant Sensor, ODS and Seat belt]
• Mechanical Design Engineer with Catia V6 tool expertise
• Perform feasibility study – with respect to Safety components [for example:
  Steering wheel Airbag, Seat Airbag and Seat belts]
• Packaging study of Safety components [Steering wheel Airbag, Seat belts, and Seat airbag]
• Design and development of Safety system components (ODS, Seats belts, Air bags)
• Knowledge on Testing and validation of Safety system/components
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements with respect to safety systems and components (FMVSS regulations)
• Knowledge on evolving and new technologies on Safety system parts
