Infrastructure Engineering Manager

Position Overview

We’re seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on platform management, cloud services, security, and cross‑functional leadership within a global team.

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 USD, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. Desired location:
Orange County with a hybrid schedule in our Irvine, CA office.

• Lead a global IT infrastructure engineering team to ensure stability, security, and performance of infrastructure services.
• Design, run, and optimize resilient infrastructure systems supporting worldwide operations.
• Develop and maintain governance and operational frameworks for consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
• Oversee endpoints (macOS, Windows), collaboration tools, servers, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS solutions.
• Manage device lifecycle, asset management, and endpoint security using Intune, JAMF, and Microsoft Auto Pilot.
• Operate direct cloud infrastructure across Azure and M365, including identity, compute, storage, and network services.
• Define and evolve security practices such as vulnerability management, patching, and secure workspace solutions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and M&A initiatives, ensuring scalability, compliance, and integration success.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions with business needs.
• Develop and track KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics via Jira, Service Now, or Zendesk.
• Manage infrastructure budgets, vendor contracts, and service delivery partnerships.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies; guide continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support hiring, training, career development, and mentorship for infrastructure and end‑user computing teams.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive technical leadership in complex, global enterprise environments.
• Strong people‑management and mentoring skills.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, and Windows/macOS endpoint management.
• Experience with Azure and/or M365 cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and Dev Ops‑IaC practices (Terraform preferred).
• Proven ability to define KPIs, SLAs, and drive service improvement initiatives.
• Vendor relationship and contract management experience.
• ITIL experience: service performance, incident, and SLA management.
• Experience implementing data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hybrid environment experience, on‑premises and cloud services.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Strong problem‑solving under pressure and prioritization skills.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Endpoint Administrator Associate or M365 Enterprise Admin
• Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect
• ITIL Foundation
• Security+, CISSP, or CISM
• Experience with SCCM/MECM in co‑management scenarios
• Compliance experience (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Intune for Education or Frontline Worker deployment
