Temporary Licensed Vocational Nurse Positions

Overview

Temporary Full‑Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) positions through UCI’s temporary staffing department. Positions can be located at:

• UC Irvine - Campus
• UC Irvine Medical Center - Orange
• Costa Mesa
• Laguna Hills
• Newport Beach
• Santa Ana
• Anaheim
• Tustin
• Yorba Linda/Placentia
• Lakewood
• Los Alamitos

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Administer vaccinations and medications.
• Provide quality nursing care for all patients.
• Screen and schedule patients.
• Manage supplies and equipment.

Required:

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• LVN license in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card maintained in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of experience working in acute, ambulatory, or urgent care.

Pay Rate: $31.57/hour (within range of $30.35/hour – $32.81/hour). In addition to the salary, benefits include medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to a number of discounts and perks.
