As a Substation Foreman, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of substation construction projects by leading field crews, coordinating daily installation activities, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications. You will be responsible for planning work fronts, managing materials, interpreting construction drawings, and supporting site leadership in driving productivity, quality, and schedule performance.

This role is critical in maintaining strong communication between field teams and project leadership while upholding Aecon’s standards of safety and operational excellence.

• Interpret Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and provide redlines to the Site Supervisor as required.
• Oversee and execute installation activities for assigned crews, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met.
• Plan weekly work fronts, coordinate tasks, and organize materials to support efficient execution.
• Identify and communicate material and consumable needs to the Site Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Support resolution of on‑site issues and assist in managing crew‑level disputes.
• Communicate site conditions and constraints to the Construction Manager, including resourcing, site services, and materials.
• Manage crew timesheets and ensure accuracy of daily reporting.
• Promote and uphold Aecon’s safety culture, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety standards.

• Minimum of 3+ years of substation field experience, including at least 1+ year in a Subforeman or leadership capacity, with hands‑on experience across key substation scopes.
• Proven experience in:
