C.R. Jackson, Inc. is seeking motivated and dependable Asphalt Team Members to join our paving crew. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the team responsible for delivering smooth, high-quality asphalt surfaces on road construction and resurfacing projects.

Whether you’re experienced in paving or looking to grow your skills in the field, this position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.

• Assist with asphalt paving operations including spreading, raking, shoveling, and finishing
• Support paver, roller, and screed operators to maintain consistent material flow and mat quality
• Work alongside truck drivers and crew members to keep paving operations running smoothly
• Monitor work areas and maintain awareness of surroundings for safe operations
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support the paving crew
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
• Maintain a strong work ethic and contribute to a positive team environment

• Previous asphalt paving or construction experience preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and experienced crew members
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed
