We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team. This executive role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, influence organizational growth, and help lead a collaborative, family-oriented credit union committed to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide strategic leadership of Accounting and Finance functions, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff development.
  • Lead financial strategy, annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, including scenario modeling and budget-to-actual reporting.
  • Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, regulatory examinations, and Call Report preparation in accordance with GAAP and NCUA requirements.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced financial partners, auditors, consultants, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and accountability.
  • Support and oversee the Asset/Liability Management (ALM) program, including liquidity management, interest rate risk monitoring, investment oversight, and ALCO reporting.
  • Direct financial analytics and business intelligence efforts through KPI monitoring, dashboards, and profitability analysis to support data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Board of Directors and ALCO.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while supporting cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and all applicable regulations and policies.
  • Support the credit union’s mission, vision, and core values through leadership and organizational engagement.

  • Ability to provide strategic financial insight and recommendations based on analysis, experience, and industry knowledge.

Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within a credit union or other financial institution.
