Information Technology Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to manage and support Windows-based endpoints in an enterprise environment using Microsoft Intune, Azure, and identity platforms to ensure secure and compliant operations. This role involves administering on-premises and cloud identity services, supporting endpoint and network security, and managing access control and compliance tools.

The ideal candidate will serve as a senior escalation point for IT support, collaborate closely with IT and Security teams, maintain technical documentation, and continuously improve systems, processes, and overall security posture.

• Manage, deploy, configure, and support Windows-based endpoints (Windows 10/11) in an enterprise environment
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management, policy enforcement, patching, and compliance management
• Design, manage, and support Microsoft Azure services focused on identity, endpoint management, and security
• Administer and maintain Local Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ), including synchronization, access control, and lifecycle management
• Participate in IT security initiatives involving endpoint security, identity protection, and access control
• Support and maintain NAC solutions such as Portnox
• Configure and manage Azure security and compliance features including Conditional Access, Defender, security baselines, and compliance policies
• Provide basic network troubleshooting and support for LAN/WAN connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network access issues
• Act as a senior escalation point for end-user IT support and provide hands‑on troubleshooting
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Infrastructure teams to improve systems and security posture
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT engineering experience, preferably in a senior‑level role
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint policy management
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including identity, device management, and security
• Experience administering Local AD and Azure AD/Entra
• Background in IT security, including endpoint security, identity management, and Zero Trust principles
• Familiarity with NAC tools such as Portnox or similar platforms
• Knowledge of Azure security and compliance best practices
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and end‑user support skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently
• Experience with Power Shell scripting and automation

• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Endpoint Management, or Security
• Networking certifications such as CCNA or equivalent
• Experience supporting security and compliance initiatives
• Experience supporting distributed or global teams
• Advanced Power Shell and automation experience
