Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule

Day Time:
Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM;
Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to support controlled access for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
  • Carry authorized post equipment while performing patrol duties, remain prepared to respond to escalated situations within post guidelines, and follow all applicable armed post responsibilities and reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
