Overview
The Nursing Supervisor assesses, plans, directs, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care for shifts in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Acts as the administrative representative of the hospital during the off shifts and weekends.
ResponsibilitiesThe intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
QualificationsEducation:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois
- Certified in CPR or completes certification during Nursing Team Onboarding
Experience:
- Three to five years of recent clinical experience.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates leadership abilities.
- Demonstrates good communication skills
