Job Description

Zendesk is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive in Tokyo, who is responsible for growing our business and presence within the field. We need an experienced sales person who is who has a consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and bringing onboard Enterprise clients with polished presentation skills. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline of new business opportunities and delivering results against a quota. This individual will provide the best sales experience possible for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll become the resident expert on the Zendesk platform and will sell new customers our cloud-based software.
  • Demonstrating / selling value to key stakeholders within the accounts
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Zendesk Mid-Market & Enterprise Pipeline
  • Build a plan to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction within your accounts
  • Close large, complex deals involving multiple executive level stakeholders
  • Working with other departments to prioritize, coordinate  resources where needed
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating win-win agreements based on value based selling
  • Exceeding activity, pipeline and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
  • Ensuring 100% satisfaction within your accounts
  • Requirements:

  • Bilingual: English/Japanese Experience selling to C level executives
  • 5 + years of software selling experience in JapanTrack record of success selling into Mid Market and Enterprise companies
  • Consistent track record of success with $1M + quotaExperience managing and closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques
  • Thorough understanding of a related technology Demonstrated sales record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota
  • Outside/field selling experience
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as directed by sales management
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes
  • Proficiency using SalesForce.com
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
  • BS degree
