Job Purpose  Manage daily kitchen activities  including overseeing staff  aiding with menu preparation  ensuring food  quality and freshness  and provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes   

Job Responsibilities     Supervise the preparation and production of all food products      Maintain consistent superior quality and food presentation      Collect daily feedbacks from Head Chef and work on quality improvement     Control labor and operating expenses in the kitchen and work on reduction and efficiency      Conduct ongoing tasting panels      Organize and control work schedule for all employees working in his department      Monitor the receiving of ingredients and other supplies from Central kitchen and or warehouse as required for daily  operations      Inspect products for quality during and after preparation and make adjustments as required      Monitor the kitchen staff commitment to hygiene and food safety standards      Monitor the kitchen staff commitment in grooming standards and approved uniforms      Attend to daytoday problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies  detects and ensure disposition of spoiled  or unattractive food  defective supplies equipment  and or other unusual conditions      Monitor production sheets and other records as required      Follow up temperature log sheets and monitor temperature stability of all chillers and freezers      Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned     Ensure compliance with company s policies and procedures       Ensure commitment in recipes and kitchen charts as well as the portioning details       Evaluate all employees under his her supervision       Follow up on all production matters in liaising with the Head Chef and Executive Chef       Control Production PAR LEVEL and follow up on minimum stock and availability of raw materials       Perform Kitchen Checklist and Log Sheets in order to determine deviations and to set action plans accordingly
