Cox Fleet, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring a Delivery Driver. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for assisting with new bus deliveries as well as other driving duties as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Driving Non CDL Vehicles

* Working as a part of a team

* Assist in all stages of bus deliveries

* Manage all delivery related paperwork.

* Communicate with customer to ensure proper delivery.

* Maintain general work area in a clean and safe condition.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.

The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years' experience in a related field.

* This position follows regulations issued by the Department of Transportation's (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Candidate must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment

* Safe drivers needed and 3 YR MVR review required;
Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence driver's license, be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File.

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
