Overview
Fred Astaire Dance Studios® is excited to offer the role of New Student Department Manager. You will oversee the brand new students’ private and group dance classes throughout the week. You and your Fred Astaire team will help students reach their personal dance goals through many different ways—from a single event to a lifelong journey of dance growth—and be pivotal in ensuring an amazing experience.
You will meet and work closely with people from all walks of life, which will provide personal enrichment in this environment. We maintain regular, full-time studio hours from 12:00 – 21:00 (9:00 pm) throughout the week and this is a full-time position.

We offer group and private lessons, choreograph wedding dances, prepare the wedding party for the big day, provide opportunities to perform in venues, host local parties for practice and camaraderie, and host an average of 35 branded National, Inter-Regional and Regional Dance Competitions annually.
Requirements
Successful New Student Department Manager:
- Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and 100% passionate about dance.
- Have outstanding customer service skills.
- Understand what it takes to be successful and are willing to commit to the work.
- Hold themselves and others accountable.
- Are unselfish team players and can inspire and lead a team.
- Eagerly accept coaching and feedback for improvement.
