What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site leadership.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, offering directions and assistance while documenting security-related events as needed.
* Support a healthcare environment by assisting with orderly operations, helping with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
