In this leadership role, you will manage school nutrition services, ensuring operations align with federal and state guidelines. Your responsibilities include overseeing budgets, monitoring program compliance, and training staff effectively. This position emphasizes improving the overall nutritional offerings for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and improve nutrition programs for compliance
• Conduct monthly reviews of school kitchen operations
• Manage the School Nutrition budget and food costs
• Supervise the Manager of School Food Services
• Coordinate with contracted food service providers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on nutrition or management
• Five years' experience in school nutrition management preferred
• Completed food safety training within the last five years
• Valid Virginia driver’s license required
• Strong financial management and communication skills
