Join Trans Mountain as an Environmental Specialist in Kamloops, BC, focusing on vegetation management and field coordination. This contract position involves significant stakeholder interaction and environmental compliance duties.
Reporting to the Senior Environmental Advisor, you will coordinate vegetation management efforts, ensuring all activities meet regulatory standards.
Your role will require effective communication with various teams and stakeholders to facilitate access and monitor ongoing projects. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate site-specific vegetation management processes
• Communicate with internal teams for site access
• Conduct environmental surveys and data assessments
• Support field training initiatives
• Ensure completion of documentation as per requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or similar
• 3+ years of experience in vegetation management
• Proven project management skills
• Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate and safety training
• Willingness to travel across the Kamloops to Hope area
