Kamloops Specialty Pharma Nurse Position

Embark on a nursing career with Carecor as a Specialty Pharma Nurse in Kamloops, BC, offering infusion treatments on a flexible schedule. This role integrates individualized care with monitoring infusion-related reactions.
As a 18-month temporary Specialty Pharma Registered Nurse, you will administer injectable and oral pharmacological treatments while documenting patient responses. You’ll create tailored care plans and work collaboratively with the Specialty Pharma Supervisor to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored nursing care plans

• Perform health assessments and provide patient education

• Administer specialized intravenous medications and observe patient status

• Document any adverse events according to pharmacovigilance standards

• Maintain training and competencies for specialized procedures
Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited source

• Current registration with a provincial nursing regulatory body

• Experience with IV access, central lines preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
