We are seeking an experienced Production Superintendent to lead ink manufacturing operations at our Kankakee facility. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production while ensuring high product quality and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on leader who can develop teams, optimize processes, and consistently meet customer and business expectations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead all production operations and equipment related to ink manufacturing.
  • Champion a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute production activities to meet demand in a cost‑effective manner.
  • Identify and resolve operational, process, and facility issues to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Manage manufacturing spend against budget and adjust resources based on production volume.
  • Directly lead and develop a team of supervisors and production employees (3 direct reports; one per shift).
  • Address employee relations, training, performance management, and workforce planning needs.
  • Investigate customer issues from an operational perspective and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with internal teams and NACS to resolve issues affecting end‑use customers.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; batch manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and production teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and control costs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
