Assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community. Act as the General Manager in his/her absence.

Position Requirements
College,   Less than 1 Year work experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration and three years of guest service/hotel experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous extended-stay experience or experience in a hotel of similar size and complexity preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow employees.
Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
Required Language Skills:
  • English - Very good

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be able to calculate amounts  basic addition, subtraction and multiplication.

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of guests checking in/out of the hotel.
Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described  are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Employees must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Use of hands, fingers and arms is required. Job frequently requires standing, walking, bending, and crouching.

HOURS

Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demand, hours may be reduced at any time.
