Lead Civil Structural Engineer Position Summary

• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-discipline engineering teams to develop and execute effective project design strategies for civil and structural requirements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Prepare scopes of work, technical specifications, and detailed drawings for bid packages.
• Interact with suppliers and contractors to resolve construction and design issues.
• Provide project and field construction support, including troubleshooting and evaluating existing civil/structural systems.
• Define project scopes and estimates, execute structural designs, and support construction activities.
• Review incoming RFIs/Submittals and expedite responses.
• Participate in final design coordination meetings and approve necessary modifications.
• Conduct site walk-downs to verify installations meet design specifications.
• Design and engineer structural steel supports, pipe racks, modular skids, and platforms.
• Engineer foundations for racks, structures, vessels, pumps, compressors, and other balance of plant foundations.
• Promote and uphold Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, material estimation, and field manhour calculations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in structural design for gas treatment and/or natural gas projects.
