HVAC Technician

Job Summary:

The Facilities Management and Planning Department at UNK is looking to hire a HVAC Technician.

• Monitor and maintain campus energy management system.
• Commission controllers like UNT, AHU, VMA, DX9100, TC9102, FEC and NAE.
• Check sequence of operation of each air handler unit.
• Calibrate;
  Space, mixed air, discharge air, heat pump loop, heating, cooling, and outdoor air temperature sensors.
• Calibrate; duct pressure, building static and heating/cooling water sensors.
• Run alarm reports and operator override reports.
• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Will be on rotating backup shift schedule to cover vacationing staff on the 24 hour crew. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Info


Required Qualifications:

• High School education or GED
• 2 years of Johnson Controls Inc. controls experience in service and or repair
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Selected canidate will need to complete a pre-employment physical and background check prior to start date.
