The Opportunity
We are seeking an Accounting Administrator to join our team at Community Traffic Control. This role supports our accounting and operations team with a strong focus on billing, customer account management, and general administration. You will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing while working closely with field operations to keep information up to date.
This position is based out of our West Kelowna office, with training taking place at our head office in Kelowna, BC. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.
Qualifications
1+ years of office administration experience
Background in Accounting/bookkeeping preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Experience with accounting software (Quick Books Online), invoicing, and time‑tracking systems is considered an asset
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Professional and discreet when handling confidential financial and client information
Responsibilities
Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and within established timelines
Ensure all billing documentation, timesheets, work orders, and supporting records are complete and accurate prior to invoicing
Work closely with the Field Operations Manager to gather missing billing information and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate travel and hotel accommodations
Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding accounts as required
Maintain and update customer billing information, price lists, and internal tracking systems
Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and operations teams
Support management with special projects and reporting as needed
Compensation
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
