Retail Security Officer – M&S

Location:

Kendal. Salary: £13.58 per hour, guaranteed 40+ hours per week.

The role is a customer‑facing position in a premium retail environment. You will create a safe, supportive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues, maintain a secure environment and contribute positively to the overall customer journey.

• Maintain a visible, welcoming and reassuring presence within the store.
• Support customers and colleagues professionally and confidently.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, theft and security concerns.
• Help de‑escalate challenging situations calmly and respectfully.
• Work collaboratively with store teams as part of the wider M&S environment.
