Program Manager – Finance Transformation

Our Corporate Functions teams support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability. Expedia’s Global Finance Technology team is hiring a Program Manager to support cross‑functional delivery for a Book-to-Cash and Finance platform transformation initiative. In this role, you will support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data readiness activities, help align Finance/Tax/Payments/Accounting teams, and manage dependencies through launch.

This non‑people‑manager role focuses on disciplined planning, execution, and measurable business outcomes across highly regulated, audit‑ready platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Support end‑to‑end planning and execution of testing cycles, including scoping, entrance/exit criteria, and time‑boxed cycles; maintain the testing tracker, daily updates, and issue triage.
  • Coordinate recurring cross‑functional demos and communications (pre‑reads, recordings, attendee management) to validate scenarios across the full suite of transaction types.
  • Facilitate data conversion and cutover decisions, documenting agreements and required follow‑ups.
  • Partner on defect/RAID triage with engineering, helping ensure consistent Accounting treatments for all transaction types and timely responses to issues raised.
  • Track upstream/downstream ownership for various data flows; ensure issues are assigned to the right teams and progress remains visible.
  • Support change management activities for business processes and coordinate user training planning, communication, and execution to encourage adoption. Prepare weekly summaries and progress readouts connecting testing outcomes, audit/compliance status, and schedule impacts to decision asks. Collaborate with other Program Management resources on completion timelines, risks, and decisions for projects required for launch.
  • Partner across Finance Engineering, Accounting, Payments, Tax, and Analytics to align technical and accounting outcomes to business launch timelines.
  • Help translate governance and audit findings into actionable, sequenced work across platform teams to reduce launch risk.
Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • 5–7 years of program management experience in complex, multi‑domain platform initiatives (Finance/Accounting/Payments/Tax preferred).
  • Experience supporting enterprise‑scale testing, data readiness programs, and audit/compliance work streams (SOX/ITGC).
  • Proficient communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable contributing across cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
  • Proficient with Jira/Confluence and comfortable producing executive‑ready progress reporting.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to partner on data validation strategies and identify discrepancies across systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud FAH/GL and payout/cash reconciliation flows.
  • Exposure to FX, chargebacks, and travel industry booking/settlement nuances.

Pay:
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $ to $, with potential to increase up to $ based on performance. Starting pay will vary based on multiple factors.
