Salary$85,000 to $115,000 per year. This is the expected pay at the start of employment; total compensation may vary based on experience, skill level, and internal equity.

The Production Value Stream Manager (VSM) supports the Senior Operations Manager in exceeding production goals. The VSM leads productivity and cost‑improvement initiatives, oversees department metrics, reporting, and employee development within the Value Stream, manages production across all shifts, and drives on‑time, high‑quality delivery to customers.

- Manage hourly production employees across departments
- Ensure high quality performance and safety compliance
- Set production metrics and solve operational problems, meeting customer demand with on‑time delivery
- Drive productivity projects across the shop to achieve cost savings
- Collaborate with HR on recruiting, onboarding, career development, and end‑of‑employment processes
- Maintain knowledge of all company policies and provide audit support with schedules and documents
- Ensure employee training on policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Establish annual goals with the Senior Operations Manager and monitor progress of direct reports
- Conduct performance reviews and calibrate reviews across teams
- Lead succession planning and develop leads within the value stream
- Maintain and develop Standard Work Instructions for production efficiencies
- Engage stakeholders to evaluate customer needs and align business objectives
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and drive cultural change
- Other duties as assigned
- ERP knowledge, including Infor Syteline and Shop‑Trak (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills for data trend analysis; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Strong time‑management and multitasking ability
- Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making skills
- Availability to travel approximately 5 % of the time (mostly within the PNW)
- Reliable attendance record
- English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and FAA Repair Station pre‑employment background checks
- Compliance with U.S. export‑control regulations; non‑U.S. persons require an export license
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- 5‑7 years management experience, including leadership, development, and retention of employees
Standing or walking for long periods in a manufacturing environment; frequent use of hands on writing, computers, and office equipment; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally; exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles; moderate workplace noise; fluctuating temperatures. Personal protection equipment (safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, respirator provided by company) may be required.
