Position
DOT inspection certified mechanic (2‑5+ years experience) – Kent, WA.
Shift HoursMonday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Range$22.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers.
- Perform tank service and repairs.
- Install and repair trailer suspensions.
- Repair and maintain air brake systems.
- Optional TIG welding on aluminum, stainless or carbon.
- Inspect tanks and trailers to meet DOT standards.
- HM183 certification preferred.
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Fit through tank trailer manhole.
- Work in confined spaces.
