Student Assistant (Applegate)

Position Summary:

Serve as a student animal caretaker in collaboration with the United States National Poultry Research Center. Students will be able to meet ARS requirements for a T2 clearance.

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable welfare standards and research protocols
• Follow all biosecurity procedures
• Set up and clean up of all animal housings
• Providing feed and water as directed
• Critical observation of overall flock health
• Data collection and solid waste removal
