* Asset Reliability
* Analyze downtime trends for presses and vulcanization lines
* Improve MTBF and reduce repeat failures
* Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies
* Standardize press rebuild and overhaul practices
* Process Parameter Control
* Monitor and control key vulcanization parameters (temperature, pressure, cure time, Vacuum)
* Validate press control logic for parameter stability
* Identify process drift and variation trends
* Partner with Automation Engineer to improve control loop performance
* Ensure parameter alignment with Control Plan
* Production Support
* Provide real-time troubleshooting during production issues
* Support startup and validation after downtime events
* Reduce unplanned production interruptions
* Improve cycle consistency
* Scrap & Quality Reduction
* Analyze scrap trends related to cure parameters
* Lead root cause investigations (8D / 5 Why/Cause Map)
* Develop corrective actions to eliminate repeat scrap
* Partner with Quality and Production to stabilize processes
* Predictive & Condition Monitoring
* Use thermal imaging, pressure validation, and condition monitoring tools
* Identify early failure indicators in heating systems and hydraulics
* Develop predictive maintenance roadmap for presses
Qualificationsarrow_right
* Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university in appropriate technical field.
* Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Ability to work in a team setting.
* Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
