Aberdeen Helicopters is seeking a skilled Pilot with drill move experience to join our team for the 2025 exploration season and beyond. The ideal candidate will have over 1500 hours PIC, experience with precision long line work and flying in mountainous terrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating aircraft safely and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to passengers and a solid, professional example to coworkers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition for flight.
  • Navigate and operate the aircraft during various flight conditions, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with air traffic control and other crew members to ensure safe operations.
  • Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding flight paths.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs and reports as required by aviation authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing any concerns or needs during the flight.
  • Provide excellent teamwork and guidance to fellow staff, as appropriate
Requirements
  • Valid pilot’s license and AS350 endorsement
  • Strong organizational skills to manage flight plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by operational and project schedules.
