SAP S​/HANA Technical Architect – AR​/O2C Advisory

Beech Valley is seeking an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Technical Architect to support an advisory and enablement engagement focused on Accounts Receivable (AR) and order-to-cash (O2C) workflows. This role will partner closely with a product and engineering team building an AI-powered connector into SAP S/4

HANA. You’ll provide deep technical guidance on real-world SAP environments, data structures, and integration patterns to ensure a scalable and adaptable design.

• Lead deep dives into SAP S/4
  
  HANA FI-AR and O2C data models, including tables, CDS views, configurations, and hierarchies
• Advise on integration and extraction patterns (OData, REST, CDS services, IDocs, BAPIs)
• Provide design input on navigating SAP metadata and handling customer-specific customizations
• Recommend approaches for reconciling and normalizing data across S/4
  
  HANA and legacy ERP systems
• Guide extraction and interpretation of AR artifacts (invoices, statements, dunning notices, remittances, PDFs)
• Identify common S/4
  
  HANA integration pitfalls, upgrade risks, and anti-patterns
• Develop repeatable patterns and architectural conventions for reuse across environments
• Participate in design reviews and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to engineering teams

• Deep expertise in SAP S/4
  
  HANA, with a focus on FI-AR and order-to-cash processes
• Strong understanding of SAP data models, including standard and customized deployments
• Hands‑on experience with SAP integration methods (OData, CDS, IDocs, BAPIs)
• Proven ability to advise on architecture and system design in complex SAP environments
• Experience working with engineering/product teams in an advisory capacity
• Ability to translate SAP structures into scalable integration patterns
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly

• Experience supporting API or connector development into SAP environments
• Familiarity with multi‑ERP data environments and reconciliation strategies
• Exposure to AI/automation‑driven systems interacting with ERP data
