Job OverviewAl-Qadsiah Club is seeking a highly experienced Football Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Al Khobar. In this role, you will provide support to the Men's Football department to deliver accurate, data-based information and analysis, including player‑related financial matters and facilitate business decision coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, reporting and project management.
- Manage the monthly forecast process for relevant business areas, with a key focus on P&L, Cashflow and ensuring financial sustainability while communicating opportunities and risks.
- Support the FP&A team in reporting financial and operational results; identify and deliver financial analysis and data to support FP&A, CFO and the wider team.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to support the reputational excellence of the team.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for preparation of presentations and reporting packs for the Board, ExCom and other leadership.
- Support player contract financial analysis, benchmarking, and financial modeling.
- Assist in planning and managing Capex Budget through business cases, forecast and approval process.
- Track compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., overdue payables, squad control).
- Conduct variance analysis on football operations costs.
- Collaborate with sporting staff to align with club strategy and business plan.
- Maintain knowledge of the financial reporting framework and relevant sports regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional qualification preferred (SOCPA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 5–8 years of experience, preferably in football/sports finance.
- Knowledge of player and managerial staff contracts accounting, amortization and transfers.
- Strong attention to detail balanced with speed of delivery.
- Ability to create insights from a variety of data sources and support recommendations.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- High confidentiality, ethics and professionalism.
