Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading and managing the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and risk management functions. The role oversees all financial operations to ensure strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic business growth within the Oil & Gas and Contracting sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis activities
  • Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, audits, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and financing activities
  • Monitor project costing, profitability analysis, and contract financial performance for contracting projects
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive management for strategic decision-making
  • Ensure effective internal controls, financial governance, and risk management practices
  • Oversee tax planning, ZATCA compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Support business expansion, investment evaluations, and commercial negotiations
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure operational excellence
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas and Contracting companies
  • Strong knowledge of project finance, cost control, and contract management
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial management software
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance
Preferred Skills
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • High-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
    Arabic is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex business environment
