Field Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production processes using advanced control systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery identifying and troubleshooting any operational issues promptly
• Collect and analyze data from field operations to optimize production efficiency and implement necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute planned maintenance minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability
• Conduct pre‑commissioning activities air blowing water flushing steam blowing
• Perform commissioning tasks tightness test refractory dry‑out system drying and inerting
• Operate maintain and calibrate instrumentation in treatment plants
• Perform analytical testing turbidity hardness chlorine pH CO O SDI TOC
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical issues on valves compressors pumps blowers and instrumentation
• Handle chemicals safely citric acid HCl NaOH and sulfuric acid
• Maintain reports charts graphs safety audits
• Read and interpret PFDs and P IDs
• Knowledge of rotating equipment pumps compressors turbines

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in field operations within the oil and gas or manufacturing industry
• Relevant certifications such as HAZWOPER, First Aid, or specific equipment operation certifications are highly desirable
• Proven expertise in operating complex machinery and understanding control systems within a field environment
